Tami Taggart is a multi-talented teacher, choreographer, regional/national judge, director and studio owner.  She has over 40 years experience in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater and gymnastics.  She has had the privilege to study with Luigi, Roni Mahler, Frank Hatchett, Gwen Bowen and Roberta Thornsberry but continues her training as of today with names such as Mia Michaels, J. Starr, Travis Wall, Mallauri Escobel, Mark Meismer, Brian Friedman, Gregg Russell, Ray Leeper, Leslie Scott, Bosco and the list goes on.  Tami has performed nationally and professionally throughout the USA  in South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, and Chorus Line to name a few.  Judging and directing for numerous competitions, teaching workshops and traveling with her own company dancers keeps her busy throughout the year.  Tami's artistic and versatile choreography has won her students top honors at many dance competitions and conventions.  As a teacher and artistic director, she is committed to creating a positive environment for her students while building their self-esteem.  Her students learn valuable life lessons why participating in the art of dance and she can think of nothing more rewarding than sharing that joy and learning with studios across the nation!

​BONNIE PARRISH started her ballet training at the age of 8 in Detroit, Michigan. It was clear early on that this would be her calling. Evenings were soon filled with ballet classes and rehearsals. It did not take long until her summers also followed suit. She began to travel the country training with prestigious companies and teachers. For her first summer endeavor, Bonnie took the opportunity to train with the iconic American Ballet Theater. She was honored to train at the Jillana School, where the Balanchine Technique was a focus, and was able to train under the instruction of Maria Tallchief herself 'America's Prima Ballerina'. She continued with Virginia School of the Arts and The Joffrey Ballet School until she returned to the American Ballet Theater program for her final pre-professional intensive. In addition, Bonnie spent some time studying The Cecchetti Method in order to have an even broader spectrum of knowledge in the ballet world. During the winter months, where she resided in Michigan with her family, Bonnie had the opportunity to perform with professionals in major theaters at a young age. She cites her performances at The Detroit Opera House for igniting her passion for the stage early on.  She has since performed on world cruises, made both ballet and commercial appearances on the LA scene, and made Las Vegas a home for her stage dreams.  She recently as been spending her winters in Europe teaching ballet and her summers back in Las Vegas.  Having been the lead dancer and dance captain for half a dozen Las Vegas shows she understands the value in feedback and critiques.  Some of her most recognizeable work has been with "Pin Up" "American Super Stars" "Show in the Sky" "Vegas! The Show" and the LA Opera.  Her knowledge of not just the technique of dance, but the technique of making it a career is invaluable to a young dancer!  

MARCY FOX is a competition dancer gone pro.  Her dance education began in Des Moines, IA under the direction of the Paula Brekke School of Dance and continued on to the University of Nevada Las Vegas as a dance major.  Having spent her entire career either competing in the competitions themselves or working for some of the biggest competitions nationwide, she is a master at the process.  Her love of competition started early with her studio, her Drill Team in Norwalk, IA where she won UPA National Performer of the Year, and her Flag Corps, in which she lead and choreographed for 3 years.  She has been a feature member of Oxygen Dance Theater where she continued her studies in contemporary and contemporary jazz.  Her performance credits include over 20 Las Vegas shows including her current show, MJ LIVE at the Stratosphere.  She has shows currently running aboard cruise ships and in the Las Vegas area that she co-choreographed and performed in herself.  Her favorite stage credits include MJ LIVE, Show In The Sky, Bite, the annual Latin Grammys, Buck Wild, and Showgirls of Magic.  She has been a feature dancer for some of the heaviest hitters in the current house music trend, performing each customly choreographed show weekly for each artist!  Calvin Harris, Aoki, LaidBackLuke, Bingo Players, NERVO, Tiesto, ReHab, and Hardwell are just a few of the residents she spent years dancing with.  She loves being able to work with major competitions on the weekends and during the season all while getting to be in a fabulous show during the week.  Her integrity and knowledge of the dance world have afforded her this amazing opportunity to help other dancers expand and grow while bridging the gap between competition and professional stage dancer.    

Kristyn Abbadinistarted dancing at the age of three. She has over 25 years of experience in the dance industry. At the age of 10 Kristyn was asked to be a part of the Tremaine Teen Company, "Next Generation", under the direction of Marguerite Derricks. Some of her many teachers include: Joe Tremaine, Marguerite Derricks, Doug Caldwell, Tyce Diorio, Liz Imperio, Brian Friedman, Chris Dupre, Michael Rooney, Jackie Sleight, Meredith Baylis and Sally Whelan. At the age of 14, she began assisting Chris Dupre and touring the states to teach and set choreography. Under the direction of Chris Dupre, she has assisted at various conventions such as Urban Jamm, Tremaine, and Company Dance. At the age of 21, Kristyn took on the hat of choreographer to Lizzy McGuire co-star Lalaine. She toured with Disney as Lalaine's lead choreographer and dancer for three years. She has had the pleasure of working for Ivan Wrightman, Demi Moore, Elizabeth Berkley, Britney Spears, Micheal Myers and Paula Abdul, Janes Addiction; to name a few. Some of her credits include: The Joffrey Ballet, Austin Powers, Starsky and Hutch, Power Rangers, KFC, Green Day, and USPS. Kristyn co-directed a competition department for six and a half years where she won numerous titles, national titles, grand champion titles, choreography awards and more. Kristyn loves to teach, motivate and inspire the youth of tomorrow. Kristyn hopes to pass on her knowledge of love for dance to any and all that want to learn. Kristyn is extremely excited to begin her journey as Studio Owner/ Director at Innovation Dance Center.

MEET THE JUDGES!

JENNIFER BALDWIN  began dance at a late age but dedicated her life to the art and never looked back. She began her formal training at the Turning Pointe Dance Center in San Antonio, Texas.  She later majored in choreography at Arizona State University studying the works of Paul Taylor, Jose Limon, and Merce Cunningham. In addition to her technical training she performed as a dancer for the ASU football team. Upon her return from school she began choreography, teaching and training students for competitions. While teaching she trained as an aerialist for SeaWorld. She performed for 2 years in the show “VIVA” flying 50ft over beluga whales and white sided dolphins. Craving more, and wanting to expand artistically she left for Las Vegas, NV. There she landed her first show in one of the longest running shows on the strip, “Show in the Sky.” This led to many other shows such as The Marshall Silver Show, Stars in Concert, Rumba Dreams, DreamAngels, InTensity and the Beyonce Tribute show. She has performed at the 2013 Latin Grammies dancing for Pitbull, Enrique Iglesis and The Salsa Kings. Jennifer is dancer and an artistic director for SAJE professional dance company located in San Antonio, Texas. The company has aloud her to stretch artistically and collaborate with fellow artist to strengthen her choreography. She has been hired by Las Vegas Academy of the Arts to teach and is a part of the Thunderstruck competition staff.
She is currently getting her PMA Reformer Certification to help keep dancers bodies healthy and strong. She works for Entertainment Plus Productions as an assistant creating and providing work for talented artist in Las Vegas. Jennifer has taught dance to every age and her heart lies with the passion of her students who bring her choreography to life.

KIMBERLIE LEHENY is a BFA Scholarship graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was born and raised.  She was the recipient of the ACDFA Des Moines Iowa Ballet Scholarship.  Her multi-faceted career began in Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, Sea World, and the NBA Orlando Magic, where she was awarded NBA's gold medal for best dancer.  Kimberlie has been fortunate to have performed in Atlantic City for Merv Griffin, as well as with award winning legends such as; Chita Rivera, Tommy Tune, David Cassidy, Rip Taylor, Rick Springfield, Cheyanne, and Rose O'Donnell.  Her favorite stage credits include, West Side Story, Evita, La Cage Aux Folles, and A Chorus Line.  Kimberlie has toured all over India, Germany and Tokyo, where she entertained the troops in a Vegas style "Legends" review at Yakamoto AFB.  She has lived and worked as a showgirl/entertainment assistant in Las Vegas, for Harrahs, Ballys, Paris, Wynn, Flamingo, MGM, and the Golden Nugget where her photo was featured in Entertainment Weekly nationwide!  She was recently hired to sing for Sharon Osborne as "Liza Minnelli"  on the set of "America's Got Talent."  Kimberlie looks forward to teaching her passion every day, knowing she has the capability to instill the love of dance in a child and build their dreams and confidence.  She is a co-founder of Digital Critiqing here at DANCETINATIONS and has spent many seasons judging at top competitions nationwide.  Her ability to inspire students through their competing makes her a perfect partner for DANCETINATIONS!


Jeremy England hails from Portland, Oregon. It is there that he became the first ever male dancer for the NBA team The Portland Trailblazers. Jeremy traveled the world performing on Princess Cruises before being cast as "Chester" in the National Tour of Saturday Night Fever the musical. He currently resides in Las Vegas, where he has been very successful both on stage and behind the scenes choreographing and stage managing!  Having spent most of his Las Vegas career in full-time shows he is now enjoying the freedom of freelancing.  Working heavily with E Plus Productions he is able to travel and perform at his leisure as well as aid in the behind the scenes work.  This career move also allows him to be a frequent judge and stage manager with the Thunderstruck dance competition!   His experience and knowledge on how to be a successful performer especially in the freelance world, is something he is eager to share with the next generation!

CHAD AZADAN ​ was born and raised outside of San Francisco and attended high school in Denver. He received his professional training as a scholarship student at EDGE PAC . After completion of scholarship he pursued a career in the commercial industry, working on films like “Charlie’s Angels”, “Rock Star”, “Town & Country”, and “Cinderelmo”. His television credits include: How I Met Your Mother, The Neighbors, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, commercials for Gap, The Latin Grammys, The World Music Awards, ABC’s 50th Anniversary Special, The NAACP Image Awards & Days Of Our Lives. Along with his commercial work, Chad began pursuing a career in concert dance. Having the opportunity to perform with companies like Odyssey Dance Theater, River North Chicago Dance Company, and Liz Imperio’s Instincts Live Media Dance Company. Chad is no stranger to the Vegas stage having performed in Celine Dion’s A New Day, Le Reve, and was part of the creation and original cast of Cirque Du Soleil’s Viva Elvis. Chad was an Assistant Choreographer for the majority of So You Think You Can Dance Season 9, and The Assistant Coordinating Producer for Season 12 of American Idol.

Lana Cary is a Las Vegas native who has been dancing since the age of 5.  She trained under Inez Mouring at Studio One Dance for 13 years.  She studied ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and acro.  She won many national titles including Overall High Score at StarPower during her time spent with Inez. Lana attended college at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she was a Rebel Girl for four years, and captain her senior year.  She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education.  She was a dance instructor for the Rebel Starzz youth program and taught tumbling at the YMCA during her time at UNLV.  Lana has performed in numerous shows including MGM's New Year's shows, The Boogie Nights, Golden Rainbow's Ribbon of Life, just to name a few. She was also a dancer and line captain for the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives. As much as she enjoyed performing, her real love was always teaching and coaching dance.  Lana was a staff instructor for the World Cheerleaders Association, Cheerleaders of America, and the Universal Dance Association.  Lana began her full time job as the dance teacher and head dance coach at Foothill High School in 2005 and has raised the program to the national level.  Her teams have placed in the top ten at the National Dance Team Championship since 2010. Lana is excited to bring her love of dance to the community around her!
